International Children's Day!
June 1 is the day when the miracle of birth, purity, and the return to innocence is celebrated. For the first time this holiday was mentioned in August 1925 in Geneva, at a World Conference on the Protection and Welfare of Children when 54 countries adopted the Declaration on the Protection of Children.
In accordance with the Decision of the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health of the Republic of Moldova no. 11 of 15 May, 2020, based on the Provision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Order no. 234 of 19 May 2020, The Bureau for Migration and Asylum starting May 25th, 2020 will serve applicants in a special regime to protect further the health of its citizens and specialists and prevent the spread of Covid-19.
FOR THE FOREIGNERS’ ATTENTION!
We’d like to inform you that the Bureau for Migration and Asylum is resuming step by step its work on the reception of foreign citizens in the One-Stop-Shop starting from May 18th, 2020.
During the first stage the documents produced earlier are to be issued: the residence permit, decisions to grant or extend a residence permit in the Republic of Moldova, confirmation of the repatriation of foreign citizens, etc.
In the Republic of Moldova over 18 500 of foreigners from 145 countries are documented with residence right.
Among the documented foreigners are persons of different religious confessions: Orthodox, Catholics, Baptists, Indians, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Adventists, Pentecostals, Evangelicals, etc.
FOR THE INDIVIDUALS AND LEGAL ENTITIES’ ATTENTION!
The Bureau Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - suspends the acceptance of applications for granting / extending the right of residence and issuing a residence permit to foreigners in the Republic of Moldova during the state of emergency, except in cases of extreme necessity.
FOR THE FOREIGNERS’ ATTENTION!
We remind you that persons including foreigners located in the Republic of Moldova in accordance with the provisions of clause 1 of ORDER №6 of March 26, 2020 of the Commission for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Moldova must carry identity documents (passport, identity card, residence permit in the Republic of Moldova) especially if he/she travels outside his/her place of residence / home address or other place of residence.
